How Our Mentoring Transforms Pastors Globally

At Developing Workers, our Global Leadership training focuses on

Our Global Ministry initiative involves teaching workshops on discipleship, soul care, and sharing the story of God. We are honored to work with individuals in several countries, including Zambia, Poland, and Mexico, and to mentor 17 Bible college students in Kenya.

Today, we’re excited to share a remarkable story about the transformative impact of our mentoring and coaching with Pastor Wilson Mombosha in Kenya.

Pastor Wilson started his journey with just two churches under his care. His encounter with Developing Workers and our founder, Michael Parker, in 2009 was a pivotal moment. By 2011, he began our leadership training, which has led to extraordinary growth—he has now planted over 18 churches across Kenya.

One significant challenge Pastor Wilson faced was that 80% of his pastors lacked basic education and leadership skills. However, through our consistent training and discipleship classes, these pastors have significantly enhanced their capacities. They are now better equipped to support church planting and to minister more effectively to their congregations.

Developing Workers’ mentorship is helping Pastor Wilson, along with multiple other pastors worldwide, tackle the poverty of discipleship and create a ripple effect of disciple-making leadership.

We could NOT do our ministry without your support. We know God is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine. Join us in what God is doing!
