Hear How to Support Foundations Training

Our Foundations team has faithfully answered the call of ministry partners worldwide this summer, training ministry leaders in disciple-making and meeting with many pastors and workers.  We could not do it without your help, and we have more opportunities even now for you to partner with our Foundations team specifically.

Ministry Across the Nations

The past month has been amazing and full at Developing Workers, launching an active summer ministry season.

Read on to hear how Matt Swartz and the Foundations team have already been present in multiple nations with more to come.

Our Global Reach

Developing Workers has a global reach because of amazing national partners in countries all over the world.   Mexico is no exception to this fact, and we are blessed to work alongside the ministry partners there. For the past four years, we have been partnering with the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico to train leaders to multiply disciple making movements. The vision to end discipleship poverty begins with pastors and leaders who commit to make disciples the way Jesus did: up close, personal, and over time. The last two weeks of February, Foundations trainers Matt Swartz and Mike Fike trained 161 leaders in three cities in southern Mexico.  This trip was an expansion of a trip last June where we launched our training in southern Mexico.   The hope of our training is not only to have trainers go out from the United States to train leaders, but also to see national leaders in each country we work in to catch the vision to expand the training as well. In the city of Villahermosa, Mexico, we are starting to see this very thing happen!  Leaders met with Matt and Mike and communicated a plan to take the training they received and continue to train other pastors and leaders in the rural areas surrounding Villahermosa.    We praise God for the vision of the these to see discipleship multiply throughout the state of Tabasco! Would you please pray for these leaders as implement this plan and also for hearts of pastors and church leaders to be open to receive the training.   We believe in the power of disciple-making to transform communities and change entire nations.   We believe as we continue to partner with these leaders in ongoing training, coaching, and encouragement that we are developing workers to mobilize ministry.  May it be so!
