What happens when disciples of Christ don’t also make disciples – when modeling, training, and the care of a mentor are absent? Discipleship poverty.
What does discipleship poverty look like?
Shallow faith. Lost and misguided souls. Broken lives and broken relationships with God and with people.
Developing Workers Global exists to fulfill the Great Commission to make disciples, and in order for discipleship to flourish, new disciples ought to also make disciples.
Our aim is to end discipleship poverty, to empower and equip leaders to multiply discipleship – and to take part in changing the atmosphere of the entire world!
Equip Leaders, Empower Disciples
Discipleship poverty occurs when disciples cannot or do not make reproducing disciples.
Lack of discipleship occurs not only due to a lack of resources or tangible tools needed for leaders to share the gospel message of Jesus. It is also a lack of mentorship, prayer, and one-on-one accountability.
Developing Workers answers this need.
We pour into pastors and ministry leaders through life-on-life encouragement, coaching and development, and the empowerment to live out their specific mission, vision, and values.
Don’t Wait to Make a Difference
This is a crucial time of year as we all consider how to steward what God’s given us and to share with the causes that focus on our values.

This year, our Giving Tuesday goal is $50,000, and every penny will go toward our initiatives to multiply discipleship. The DW arms of Mobilize Medical, Foundations Training, and Leader Coaching & Development work toward that ultimate goal together.
That means more ministry in the lives of pastors, more training opportunities, and more precious resources in more hands locally and across the globe!
$25 = a resource Bible distributed to pastors in need & the ability to more effectively preach & teach Truth to their congregations.
$50 = a full pastoral discipleship curriculum in English or native languages, helping equip pastoral leaders to COME, SERVE, GROW, and GO – just as Jesus trained His disciples.
$100 = additional funding for the expensive and necessary medication we take to the field for community medical clinics abroad. Something as simple as penicillin to treat infection can completely change the trajectory of a person’s life.
