The Developing Workers team gathered together the second week of February for a much-needed time of connection, reflection, prayer, and rest. These moments together are always a gift — space to seek the Lord, celebrate what He is doing, and realign our hearts around the mission He has entrusted to us.

Slovakia This Summer
In July, Elijah and Kennedi will return to Slovakia — their fourth trip in five years — partnering with their home church, FBC Tempe, and sister church, Palmcroft Church, to lead a team for a week-long English camp.
They are excited to reconnect and deepen the relationships they’ve built with church leaders and youth in the community. The camp will combine English learning, games, programs, and Gospel conversations — all centered on building lasting relationships that open doors for discipleship.
If you are interested in learning more or applying to join the team, you can begin the application process here:

Encouragement for Church Leaders
Peter has hit the ground running this year, mentoring church leaders and investing deeply in their spiritual health.
He recently launched a weekly devotional designed specifically for pastors and ministry leaders — a space to find encouragement, strength, and renewed focus on Jesus amid the demands of leadership.
If you know someone who would benefit from this weekly devotional, please click below and share with them:

The Ripple Effect Is Happening
Last week, Matt and Onalee spoke at a church in California, inviting others to partner with the vision and mission of Developing Workers — especially our global focus of training leaders through Foundations.
During our retreat, Onalee shared an incredible milestone: over 200 church leaders have now completed Foundations training so that they can train others. This is the ripple effect in action.
Even more encouraging — discipleship is actively happening in the Philippines without a DW team member present. Leaders there have been equipped and empowered with the tools and resources to continue training others.
This is how disciples are made.
This is how movements grow.
We are praying for this same multiplication to take root in other countries. Will you pray with us?

Up Close, Personal, and Over Time
Michael continues to faithfully mentor and guide more than 50 church leaders and men. He walks alongside them up close, personal, and over time — celebrating victories and weathering storms together.
As many of us know, ministry leadership includes both joy and trial. Yet through it all, God is moving. He is present. He is faithful.

Because of your investment in Developing Workers, we can continue investing in leaders around the world. Thank you for your faithful financial support that makes this possible.
2025 Giving Statements were emailed in January. You may also access your statement anytime through your donor portal. If you would prefer a mailed copy, please let us know and we would be happy to send one to you.
Thank you for your continued support to make this partnership possible.
