At Developing Workers, partnering with global churches is at the heart of our mission. One of our key partnerships is with Global Surge, where we connect with individuals passionate about serving globally. We often call them missionaries, but more fittingly, they are global outreach workers.
When we begin these partnerships, it’s not just about diving into tasks or ticking off checklists. Instead, we take the time to truly get to know each church.

Too often, churches approach global missions with a fixed agenda, ready to power through projects. But what these churches really need is something different. Just as we invest deeply in the hearts of church leaders, we do the same with our global partners—building relationships through intentional conversations, learning their challenges and strengths, and offering ongoing support.
This approach is not a one-time effort; it’s a journey. We walk alongside our global partners, encouraging, supporting, and empowering them to spread the gospel effectively in their communities.
We also support churches here in the States by caring for the heart of pastors, providing discipleship training, casting vision, and participating in mobilizing the church for global opportunities.
