This month Elijah and Kennedi traveled with a team to Slovakia. They stepped into a week filled with God-directed connections and ministry opportunities including an English Camp for children and families.
During this English Camp in Slovakia, 155 children and their families heard the hope of the Gospel. We praise God for every opportunity to share the good news of Jesus.
But some of the most meaningful moments happened beyond the scheduled activities.
A translator who served alongside our team on a previous trip met with us for coffee—twice. Through the trust that had been built over time, she began asking deeper spiritual questions and even shared how we could be praying for her. It was a beautiful reminder that discipleship often grows through simple, intentional relationships.
Young people sought out members of our team because they wanted to learn more about Jesus. Local ministry leaders shared both the joys and challenges of serving a growing youth ministry, giving us the opportunity to encourage them, pray with them, and remind them they are not alone. We also spent time refreshing missionaries and encouraging those serving in a new church plant.
This is what discipleship looks like.
It’s more than sharing the Gospel. It’s walking alongside people—up close, personal, and over time.
